What is the Event?
This engaging, drop-in event is open to the public and designed to spark the interest of our youngest citizens, especially Girl Scouts grades PK-5 to:
Learn about local, state, and national government. Discover how young people can make a positive impact in their community. Earn a citizenship or democracy badge, aligning with their Girl Scout level.

How You Can Make a Difference?
The event features an expo-style format with interactive, hands-on activities with elected leaders in town, state and national positions. Representatives across political party will create a positive and empowering environment and event.
Engaging Activities
The event goes beyond presentations! Here are some highlights from past events:
- Photo opportunities at the dais
- Mini-tours of Town Hall, which was Greenwich High School from 1925 - 1970
- Passport stamping with the Town seal
- Voting and purchasing your favorite Girl Scout cookies ($6/box)
- How to register to vote
- Fun patch for the first 100 attendees and a level specific Girl Scout Democracy badge for pre-registrants
